Hot days with subpar AC, otherwise good as usual

I have been to V probably 5 times since my last review about a month ago. No decor descriptions, has been done to death.

The main purpose of providing this review is to discuss the AC (that's "Air conditioning", not "Alternating current," for you electrical-oriented folks). We are nearing the end of the super hot season of 95+ days, and into more mild 80s weather. Still, my personal preference will be to not visit V on a day where the temperature is above 90. One of my regulars told me "the air conditioning is broke." That's NOT what you want to hear when it's 97 outside, but then again, that's when AC breaks, when it's hot.

Had a skybox VIP with one of my regs and just when we walked in, it was hot. I almost didn't want to stay upstairs because of it, and I would not suggest upstairs VIP if it's remotely hot elsewhere. It got hotter by the time our time was done, and it was just too damn hot. My guess is the owners will ride it out until next season, because they won't need as much AC in about a month. As a contrast, recently in VIP at Diamond, when I leaned back on the couch there in the room, it was very cold. I guess having 10 foot ceilings versus 40 foot ones at V has advantages such as a happier AC system.
