Always bad luck at Palomino

I haven't been to Palomino in over a year and decided to check it out since I was right next door at Chica Bonitas. They have a modestly reduced cover for locals that drive themselves and you have to prepay for two drinks (coupon with a date on it is provided). Despite a bad visit the last time I was here, I actually do like the layout of the club. It's not a fancy club like Rhino or Sapphires, but rather a good old strip club. I got a beer and checked out the talent around me. There was a Latina on stage that was my type and she made her way over to me after she finished her set. After some brief talk, we made our way upstairs for some dances. I think the prices are 3 for $100, 15 mins for $150, 30 mins for $250 and $450 for an hour. The fantasy rooms require a $300+ bottle purchase and I think it comes to about $1000+. I opted to do 3 dances for $100 in curtained off semi-circular booth. I knew I was in trouble within 30 seconds...her dances was just terrible. I patiently waited for it to get better, but she was all over that little booth and not all over me. Halfway into the 2nd song I ended it and told her I was not interested in continuing. Clearly this ivy league scholar had no idea that I was there to spend money if her dances were worth the money, and she gladly finished thinking she got paid $100 for two songs. In reality, she only made $100 and could have made 10x that amount had her dances been even remotely good. I went downstairs to get my second drink knowing I just wasted $100 when I saw this petite blonde talking to a couple guys at the bar. She was absolutely 100% my type. She was not a 10 but she was perfect for me. When she finally approached me, her voice sounded like she was deaf or hearing impaired. I looked to see if she had hearing aids but saw none. Since I just got some terrible dances from another girl, when she asked about going upstairs, I balked at first and she assured me that she gave great dances. We went up and I purchased 3 for $100. Her dances were much better than the other girl but not great. I still opted to buy an hour with her for $450 (plus 10% surcharge for the credit card). The guy upstairs suggested a tip but he was not remotely friendly and did nothing to warrant any kind of gratuity. Into a similar booth, and we began an hour of terrible dances. So damn frustrating when a girl just does not know how to give a good lapdance or just doesn't want to. She was hot and I was willing to throwdown money on this girl if she would just give me some good dances. I kept telling her exactly how I wanted her to dance and she would for 10 seconds and then move into some weird position. When I would tell her that I was going to leave, she would ask me how I wanted her to dance and I would tell her that I have told her repeatedly. It was like she was drunk or dumb or something weird. She kept asking me if wanted to do another hour in one of the fantasy rooms and finally I had to remind her that I was not some naïve tourist that she could hustle. When she said we could have more fun in the fantasy room, I told her that there are cameras in the fantasy room just like above us in the booth. About 50 minutes into our hour I decided to end my time with this little hottie. She looked great but it was 50 minutes of just terrible dances by a girl that just didn't know how to keep a customer happy. I have no idea how I get such amazing dances at SR and get just horrible dances at Palomino. Oddly, I think I will go back here at some point. I believe there might be some diamonds in this club, but I need to do a lot more due diligence and find the right girls to spend money on. Dollar for dollar, Rhino to me is a much better value and the quality of dances I get there are 10x better than what I get at Palomino. I do not know what it is...bad luck or just picking the wrong girls at Palomino.
