When I arrived, a little before 8pm, I was the only customer, and I was the only customer when I left about an hour later. That said, it was a friendly environment and all the staff -- bartenders and dancers -- took their jobs seriously enough. Dancing got under way around 8:20, and one of the performers waiting her turn sidled up to me for some small talk and a drink (my treat). During her performance I tipped and received some lovely pillows in the face as a reward.
Naturally, she returned to my table after the dance and we began negotiating for a little time in the VIP. $120 for 20 minutes. The rooms could use some reupholstering, but the dancer was dynamite. We didn't go for any extras, but there was generous contact, she was gorgeous, and the dance was sensuous. An absolute pro - confident and in command.
My only complaint about Gold Club is that is a little smokey for my taste, but I guess that comes with the territory in most of these dives.
