I gave reviews of this club before and the scenery is still the same. Depending on if the club behind Purple Orchid is open, you will usually find easy parking. The inside is pretty much the same. Free before 7pm, $5 after 7pm. Rectangular bar around a stage with two poles. About 25-30 seats at the bar. $20 per song community room to the left(has about 4-5 couches in there) & two $30 per song private rooms to the right. Private rooms has a window on door but most dancers will hang up their bag to block the window. It’s fair game in both the community and private rooms depending on the dancer.
I went in this past weekend for a regular dancer’s retirement party. It was her last dance, and she’s not the only one to leave. Over the past few months a good amount of dancers had left the club, some just quit and some for personal reasons, even a bartender is out on leave. Now don’t get me wrong, there are still some familiar faces at the club and I’m anxious to see the new girls who will be replacing them, but at least a 4 dancers would I was fond of are now gone. I wonder if the raid spooked a few of them. I’ll keep my eyes open for new faces but if I don’t like the replacements, I might slow down on going here.
