Getting Old But A Favorite Saved the Night
I visited the Harem for the first time since the pandemic, mainly to see one of my favorites who was listed on the line-up on a Saturday evening. The place has not changed much in appearance. I did have to pay an outrageous cover charge of $30. I gave the girl a $50 bill because I needed singles. She handed me back $18. There is a sign at her window that says tips are mandatory if you are exchanging your money for singles.
The club itself still has the same set-up. There is a large rectangular stage in the middle with a couple of poles and and between 20-30 chairs surrounding the stage. Behind the stage is a small bar. Next to the bar is a narrow hallway. On the left of the hallway is a large room for lap dances. Next to that is a second room for VIP dances. To the right of the hallway is a raised section with a number of tables and chairs. I think this is their restaurant, but nobody was there on this night (or on my other visits). Along the walls are some high tables and a number of chairs with big cushions. The bouncers make you pay to sit at either. The only people sitting there were the dancers while they played on their cell phones.
This evening was crowded. There were about 30 customers and over 20 dancers. This girls are on stage for a three song set. This is supposed to be a nude club. But only one girl was naked from the waste down and most didn't even take off their tops. For the price of the cover, they should make sure the girls get naked. They had no trouble coming over for tips.
