Not my first rodeo at Ruby's II but it could possibly be my last.
On a night with nothing to do, we sometimes tend to do things that we regret and that's how I ended up here. $10 later I'm sitting at the bar while someone's grandmother is on stage shaking her saggy ass for no audience. I'm amazing how dead of a club this place is on a Saturday night and it's been this way for years now. You'd think the owner would get a hint to shake things up but evidently, no. The only new change they've had in a while was the addition of dance tickets. For the first dance, you must get a ticket from the bartender. Dances are 20 each.
Aside from granny, there were about 3 other girls roaming around the place. The best looking was a 25-29 short skinny-fat brazilian, who is probably about a 6. She seemed occupied with a regular, of course. There was tall white girl in probably the same age group who was maybe about a 5.5 who tried to talking to me but would zone out every other sentence. She really only stood out for being the only non latina there that night but in any other setting, she wasn't particularly memorable. After finishing a couple overpriced waters from the byob bar with a drink minimum, I decided to go explore elsewhere. This club has always been hit or miss but honestly, the highs have never been that great either.
