I stopped by Delilah's on a Wednesday afternoon. I don't live in Philly but I was there for a work meeting and had a few hours to spare. I had a positive experience a few weeks prior with an young AA dancer.
As most know, Delilah's is a relatively high end establishment. Welked in and went through the metal detectors. There was a disinterested doorman present. The place is big with two bars and a runway/stage between them. Being midday, there wasn't more than 6-7 customers there and one bar open. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a mixed drink ($15). I notice about 4 dancers and they were each engaged in conversation with other patrons. Both were younger white skinny girls and appeared attractive but they never approached me. One of them went onstage for a two dance routine and then returned to her customer. I ordered another mixed drink and waited....and waited. I was there for about an hour to an hour and a half but was never approached by a dancer. Eventually, i just left as I didn't see anything changing.
Maybe I was there too early (2pm) or perhaps it was a bad day.
