Like others have said, it's a latin/hiphop club with heavy security at the door. I'm not used to being wanded AND patted down at the door and having my ID scrutinized by a guy in a cheap tuxedo. Every one of the dancers is HUGE. They could all stand to lose at least 30 pounds. Maybe 50 pounds. Every girl who approached me spoke little English. Contributing to the strange atmosphere, they've added about 20 TVs which are all tuned to sports channels. Imagine watching a 200 pound topless dancer lumber around to a rap song whose lyrics she doesn't understand while Chris Berman's pudgy face silently beams at you from a dozen TVs surrounding the stage. However, I would pay money to see a video of the management meeting where someone said "hey, let's put in another 20 TVs tuned to ESPN. That'll bring in the customers".
