nice place but so so experience overall
Was in New Orleans for Monday-Wednesday work trip. Two unique things about clubbing on Bourbon Street. I've clubbed all over and it's unique in that most of the area SCs are mixed right in with all of the regular bars and music joints right on Bourbon St - an unusal blend of normal night life and strip clubs. This also makes it different for the dancers I'm sure since 95%+ of the customers are one and done and likely almost no regulars - which was confirmed by a girl I spoke with at the club.
Cover was free since someone from the club on the street waved me with a free pass. Decor and vibe in the club is nice, pretty upscale and nicely air conditioned on a 100 degree day. Domestic beers were $10. More than most places but not totally out of the norm at a SC in a tourist area.
There were only about 10 customers in the place and just as many girls. Girls ranged from 6-8 and no chubbers which is nice. I did talk with a couple of girls but not super enticing so approached a girl that appealed to me. She was pretty nice and attractive to me. She talked about private rooms but I opted for the regular dance area. We went back and she asked for $40 which she fed into a machine right in the small cubbie area. It automatically counts down the time from there. Good in theory but the screens displays the time and balance counting down from $40 to $0 which is super lame particularly when you have a visual display of how quickly the funds deplete. I was paying attention super closely but if I had to guess the time/money bank from full to empty in 2.5 minutes.
