Palomino a solid Vegas spot

I was swinging through Vegas on I-15 on a long road trip and times my visit to hit palomino. This and chicas next door are the only Vegas clubs I go to anymore. It had been 9-12 months since I’d stopped in. As has been written if you come in a cab you get a higher door charge, $75 or more IIRC. I was a little early, before 10 and drove myself, so the guy let me in with a two drink minimum. Pay the window and they give you tix for the bar. I want to say it was $30 but don’t recall.

I stopped in the bathroom which is kind on the way in and pissed and tipped the troll who was actually a pretty cool guy, warm and positive vibe.

I came into the main floor and went to the bar which is on your left. The place is pretty dark, watch the steps. I ordered a drink and sat a moment. No hard pressure hustle like most of Vegas.

One thing I don’t like is they rope off most of the seating. It’s basically sit at the bar or on tip rail unless you order a bottle. They’ve also added signs nagging you to tip at the rail. Something like “nobody works here for free”. Stuff like that. I get it, I hate when nobody tips too. Puts the girls in a bad mood and that’s no fun for anyone.

In any case still a pretty chill atmosphere compared to the rest of Vegas.
