Divas on a Monday afternoon

My first visit to Divas, tried it as an alternative to XTC when visiting Austin. My understanding of BYOB clubs is that they are all nude. But for this place, the only full nudity is in the VIP or the more private celebrity room. The girls on the main stage and side stage take only their tops off. Never having been in I wanted to check the quality of girls and availability of extras, so only paid $15 cover. I soon learned that lap dances and nudity don’t occur on the main floor, and when I tried to apply the 15 paid to the cost of $35 for VIP access, I was given a flat no. It would be 35 additional. Ninety will get you into the Celebrity, where all the action takes place. The VIP is open and visible from the main floor, so no expectations of privacy or extras.

The girls here are Cuban and Dominican. A dark black girl sat down with me uninvited before I even sat fully down. As soon as I got rid of her, another girl, then another. After the others see you blow off three or four, they will leave you alone for awhile. The girls are aggressive, and make it clear that funky-sucky can be had in celebrity. I was quoted $300 by one thick tatted up Cuban.

Quality of the girls there on a Monday from 1-3pm ranged from 5-7. There were a few whom I would have enjoyed watching dance on stage if I were left in peace for a moment, but the stage is in front of a twenty foot wide video screen blaring non stop with rap videos. Half the usual semi-coherent American ghetto rap and hip hop, and half obnoxious Spanish language rap, all of it extremely annoying . You can barely see the girl on stage for the bright HD screen behind her. I could only stand about an hour of it before I left. Oh and they charge $10 for parking. I will stick with XTC when in Austin.
