Mixed bag, and no mixed drinks.
Visited during day shift on a holiday weekend, figuring it would be busy. Synn Industry is on the corner of a large intersection. Its parking lot is shared with a small shopping center. No trouble finding a spot during the day, but I imagine the lot filling up easily at night with no clear parking alternatives in sight. Next to the shopping center is a gas station (non-accessible from the lot), and on the other end is a dead-end street that terminates in a large cul-de-sac surrounded by what appear to be industrial type/no-trespassing buildings. I saw zero cars parked on this street, and I wouldn't feel comfortable parking along it personally, not for fear of safety but for fear of potential towing or drawing unwanted surveillance. At any rate, Synn's location is completely safe, as I would expect for a club this far out of LA. Final parking note: Though Synn's parking is shared with other businesses, I didn't experience any 'walk of shame' when approaching the entrance. If you're the kind of person who gets nervous about the walk-up being highly visible with prolonged stares from pedestrians/random people at other businesses/restaurants while you strike a T-pose and are searched in front of a strip club--rest assured, this is not that kind of catwalk.
Approaching the door I expected to be searched as there was clearly a security post, but since it was so early I walked right in. Upon entering a foyer, you head right to a desk and turnstiles. I appear pretty young, but I was not asked for identification. I was however asked to provide my signature on a clipboard. Note: this was not a full-on devil's contract, where you take a gulp and sign and date--this was more like signing in to reserve the racquetball court at your local rec center. It appeared to have zero function or consequence. The page was already covered in signatures, most all of them looked entirely fake. The man behind the desk asked if I had been here before, and then said there was a one drink minimum and made sure to point out they served no alcohol.
As I arrived prior to 1PM, there was no cover. I handed him a small tip instead, and after I entered the turnstiles, he met me on the other side and did one of the lightest pat-downs I've ever received. Let's just say from that point on, I was hoping my money would get me more contact than that.
