Why I keep exiting I-95 at Emerson for a stop here

Another hot humid summer day. I'm driving through Jax mid afternoon and the traffic is building. Instead of fighting the stop and go, and the glare, I pull off just south of downtown and head for Sinsations. Only three cars in the parking lot, so already I know the place is NOT hopping but it's not the interstate. Just inside the first set of doors, at the little window to the DJ/doorman booth, I am asked for $5 admission and warned that only three girls are working. He tells me, "I just don't want you to think I was ripping you off." I just said my thanks and took my change.

Past the second set of doors and looking right, one of the three dancers is on stage, nude, and dancing slowly to something I didn't recognize, maybe rap, maybe rock, mostly rhythmic noise. She's hot, easily a 7, might rate an 8 if she smiled - she never earned that 8. I sit down at the bar and after a few minutes the DJ steps out of his booth walks past me and around into the bar area and asks me what I want. After pouring me a $6 soft drink (the place is a juice bar) I point to the "Bartender gets topless for a $5 tip" sign and tell him I am NOT giving him $5! He actually laughs and tells me that they called one of the dancers who is off today. She is on the way in to cover the bar, and I "will" want to tip her!

The original dancer steps off stage, grabs her outfit, and walks over to thank the guy I assume paid her $5 to get naked on stage. After a brief exchange, they head for the VIP area. As I look around one other dancer is sitting on a bench across from the bar and three other mongers are in the club. The seated dancer is OK looking, maybe a 6. Just as the DJ (having returned to his booth) is making noises about her getting on stage a smiling pixie enters from the back hallway and starts immediately cleaning up around the bar.
