KC is Dismal

Was in town on business and seemed like all indicators were this was the only real play in town. Stopped by at 2pm. Has a nice exterior and though at night the street could be a little deserted and mildly threatening, midday it was deserted and safe. Not a car on the street so could park anywhere plus they have side parking lot. There is an escalator on entering the main building that goes to a erotic store on top. The club entrance is on main floor. Payed the cover to the person in the booth before entering. Cover was 10$ which gave me a stub that let me leave and return without paying the cover. When you get in there is a theater style stage to your left. Seating on the floor and then more VIP /dance seating a few steps up to the right of the entrance. There were 3 dancers, all looking sadder than the next. The place didnt have a bar, but its BYOB anyways with a bar next door. It is dimly lit and has a stuck in the 90s feel to it. Staff said there were more girls in the back but didnt see any of them. Was offered a 20$ dance but none of the girls were above a 5 so didnt take them up on it.

Overall, the scene in KC is dismal beyond repair. Had hopes of seeing some girl next door type of Midwest charm but def didnt get that. Could be at night it gets more crowded and better dancers but when we were there that wasn't the case and there was no one else there but our group.
