another Rio trip

This is the first time I've been back to Rio in a few years. For good, or bad, nothing has changed. Same layout, 3 stages, only the center one is used during the day. Girls would go up for 3 song sets and each song was pretty long. It used to be tips would come of quickly. Now, it seems, tips don't come of at all, unless you are typing at the stage. Maybe it was just because it was slow. Anyway...

Arrived around 2, paid my $5 cover, got my $4 Coors light and had a seat at a table. A few girls cake by and I had a nice conversation with each. Nobody was pushy although each asked if I was interested in a dance art the end of or conversation.

After an hour or so, I needed to hit the road, but wanted to get one dance in. I picked a skinny African American girl with large fake breasts and we headed back to the $30 area. This area is also much the same, but they have removed the portion of the wall over where the side seat used to be. Period walking film the bathroom and kitchen now have full view of the area. I assume it was done for dancer safety, but it was odd seeing it.
