Not What it Once Was But Still a Good Time
This was my first time visiting LD since I went two years ago at the tail end of COVID insanity and I sadly have to report LD might be past its heyday. The ladies were definitely on the younger side compared to some of the other Vegas clubs but it lacked a lot of the energy that it had in the early to mid 2010s.
I took the limo, $10 tip to the driver and got in without cover arriving around 9 PM. Outside the club seemed pretty dead so I’m assuming most people are using the limo or rideshare. I was buzzed off some 2 for 1 tequila shots so the lack of alcohol at the club wasn’t a major buzzkill for me. Prices for drinks remain extortion prices but I went with my standard Red Bull which was $9-10. Maybe 15-20 other patrons, hard to say but maybe 20 girls were present when I arrived and I didn’t see more than 40 different faces the entire time.
After a few songs sitting at the rail, it seemed like their was a good enough mix of girls to meet everyone’s taste, bigger mix of minorities than I remember on previous visits which stands out in my mind. I ended up chatting up a young stripper named Bre and agreed to do a 15 min couch dance with her (Total cost $150+$50 tip). The couches are definitely not the bed dances of yesteryear, but I felt like I got a my monies worth. Extras did not appear to be on the table, but the dance had lots of body2body contact and my hands were 100% free to roam where I pleased. After heading back to the main stage I looked around but didn’t see any real talent that I wanted to meet. Ended up calling an Uber and bouncing when it arrived.
