indulging on a lazy saturday afternoon

Was in town for work, so I hit the Baltimore Block area on a Saturday afternoon a couple weeks ago, arriving around 2:30. I parked in a nearby garage about a block from the clubs, cost was $7 for the full day on weekend. Pretty quiet out on the streets, and Indulge was one of 2-3 clubs with any significant activity. The club is below street level, you enter down a steep set of stairs. Med/large bar, with stool seating around three sides, and a small stage with pole back behind the bar. Two-three unoccupied tables in the back with a total of maybe 12 seats. There was another larger bar area through a doorway off to the left side, which was not in use on a quiet weekend afternoon. I was told by a dancer that the club converts into a "tip-style," venue during the evening i.e., urban and dollar bill throwing etc, and that this back bar is opened up for that larger crowd. Club is very clean and the restroom looks like it's been renovated sometime in last couple of years.

There were 4-5 dancers, in their early-mid 20-s, unremarkable looks but decent from what I've seen the one or two other times I've been down to the block. No other customers were present when I arrived, but 3-4 more trickled in during the 3ish hours I was there. Each dancer will do couple songs on stage and then most but not all will do a tip walk around to the customers after their dances.

Beers were $10, and the very personable bar tender kept them coming. As seems standard on the Block, dancers sit with you to get acquainted, and try to negotiate VIPs. Expectation is that you buy them $25 dollar dancer drinks as long as they sit with you; I'm sure they are trying to meet a drink quota. Dancer drinks go down pretty quick, so you have to make a rapid decision whether you want to hang out and have your wallet drained by drinks, send them on their way, or opt for a room.
