Saturday Night

I was in Vegas for one night. Was planning on a low key night of playing poker but between the fight and the WSOP, I couldn't find anywhere to play without a long ass wait, and decided to just hit up Palomino instead. Following the advice of others, I took a taxi to Jerry's, did a lap around the casino and walked across the street to Palomino.

There were two large groups ahead of me waiting to get in. The bouncer offered them $67 a person or a private table and bottle for $500. When it was my turn the bouncer asked if I had taken an uber or driven, I told him I walked from Jerry's and he told the girl at the window to charge me $40 with two free drink tickets. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me, seems like the Jerry's strategy works.

It was about 10:30 on a Saturday night when I got there, so as you can imagine, the place was packed. Both the little stage in the front room and the main stage were in use. Unfortunately, all of the booths and tables were reserved so the only places to sit were at the bar or stage side. After grabbing my free drink I took a seat at the main stage.
