Different, not better

I used to come here when I worked near there and it was on the way home. It has been almost 4 years since my last visit. I have been reading about the owner changing and I've seen some pics of dancers on Facebook that made me curious enough to go back.

The parking lot need leveling again to control the potholes, but I managed to park near the door and it wasn't raining, so it was OK. There is an inside door that used to be buzzer controlled but on this day it was open enough that you could walk right in. It took a minute to get accustomed to the dark inside, but it was good after that. There are 2 pool tables right inside the door that I didn't see getting any use and a DJ booth in the corner, also not in use. In the opposite corner there is a mirrored stage with a pole and there were some girls playing around the pole causally; not exactly performing, but not sitting motionless. The horseshoe shaped bar probably seats up to 20 with high stools and there are some chairs against one wall with some space on one side of the bar.

The bartender was attentive, but not really attractive. There were no N/A beers so I asked for a diet cola which she poured from a 2-liter over ice. There were about 4 customers sitting around the bar and before I left probably 4 more came in. One was getting a bar-side dance. For most of my visit there were 3 dancers and the bartender. All of them were larger than I would have liked. I would not have turned my head to see them again if I saw them on the street. The one white dancer who was giving a dance when I came in eventually made her way over to me. She told me her name, but I didn't remember it.

She gave me the run-down. $10 bar dances $20 in the VIP with an open invitation for extras, as in days gone by. I had told her I used to come before and she basically said the arrangements are still what they used to be. She said she would read the Beacon Journal for $150. I remember the activity, but not the price and there was no way I was going for that. We settled on 2 barside dances and they were pretty much phoned in, although the one song was very long, so I gave her a total of $25.

When I was ready to go because my explainable time was out, a smaller cuter girl was coming in to work. I would have liked to get a dance with her, but there was no way to tell how long she would be "getting dressed" so I left. Maybe the night girls are better quality, but the place still has a reputation for not being somewhere you want to be at night.
