The club to visit in Phoenix
Bourbon Street has become my favorite club, after visiting several in multiple states. The establishment is relatively clean, though I usually visit in the afternoon so this review will definitely be colored by that. The lighting inside is dark and red-tinted, so if you're visiting by day be prepared to be blind for a few minutes when you walk in, especially in summer. The music is a mixture of rock and dated hip-hop, which isn't especially to my liking, and the DJ is moderately annoying, but I'm also not really visiting for the music. The first few times I visited they used to do a line-up where they would have all the girls come out on the stage and introduce them by name, which I appreciated as I could show up shortly before the line-up and figure out a few options for girls I'd like to buy dances from without having to wait through a full rotation, but they stopped doing this a couple of years ago, probably because it kept interrupting lap dances. The popcorn is also no longer something BSC does, but I barely noticed when they phased it out; I'm not going to clubs to eat.
BSC has the prettiest dancers of nearly every club I've been to, by a pretty wide margin. They have a fair mix of white, Hispanic, and Asian dancers, though not terribly many black girls lately. There is a broad breadth of body types and styles, ranging from a few little spinners to curvier ladies and a few plastic dolls. I have never seen a dancer at BSC that wasn't, in my opinion, at least a six, which means I have a lot of freedom to pick nines and tens to my taste. During weeknights and afternoons there may only be around five or six girls, though it can get very busy at nights and weekends. The bouncers and bar staff are all very friendly, and the dancers are pretty chill, though they're also often a little transparently impersonal and transactional.
Cover is $10 after 6 pm. During happy hour, draft beers are $4, though I believe outside happy hour the prices jump to $6-$7. Lap dances are $20 per song and take place on a platform towards the back of the building. The seats are dimly lit and you can get surprisingly high mileage, but mileage is always going to depend on your dancer and her comfort level. I usually spend around $150 a visit, though this does vary a lot depending on the night. BSC also serves food, and has pizza from what I understand. I've heard that it's good, but I've never eaten at a club and have never wanted to be the guy with greasy fingers while I'm trying to get a lap dance.
