Better Than My First Impression

Had an afternoon to kill in Anaheim near Disneyland. There are 2 California Girls - one in Anaheim and one in Santa Ana. According to google, Anaheim opens at 6 but Santa Ana opens at 3. But it turns out, the Santa Ana location is on Harbor, right down the street from Disneyland, which is in Anaheim. So very confusing. A dancer later on asked me why I didn't go to Anaheim, and I told her because Santa Ana opened at 3 and it seemed like it was in Anaheim. She didn't even know when the other club opened, but she explained customers get confused all the time.

I parked in the lot next to the club. There is also a lot behind the club, but it seems to be part of an auto body repair shop. At first I was skeptical about how many people were in the club at 3 PM because I only saw about 5 cars in the lot. The lot seemed safe. When I entered the club, there was noone manning the till. There is a turnstyle so I waited. Eventually the doorman showed up, patted me down, and let me in. There was no admission as he explained there were only 3 girls working. I asked him if he expected any more to show up and he replied probably not.

Upon entering the club area there was a small stage directly ahead, a bar to the left, and some VIP areas in the rear. The stage had individual chairs arranged around it in a semi-circle. There was also a table separating the chairs from the stage, and a space the dancer could go into between the stage and the table. The dances would use the table but it was unclear whether the barrier was set up due to some local regulation. The bathrooms and over all decor were much better than expected. Management was nice and friendly.
