Stopped by the Flamingo for the first time in a couple years on Thursday night. And while the parking lot was close to full, the club was mostly empty. Unless there was a secret underground club, I still haven't figured out where all the people went from those cars. After finding a seat near the DJ booth, we were treated to a couple hours worth of decent-quality ladies dancing and strutting for two-song sets. The gals are up on stage two at a time, but a new dancer replaces an existing one every song. I like the two song rotation and the choices up on stage. There looked to be about 20 gals dancing, and quality ranged from a high of 9 to a rather low 4. Overall I was less impressed than I expected to be. I think the Hugger in Kokomo offers better dancer quality on most nights. Drink prices were reasonable and table service was very good. There were about three waitresses who could have easily been the best dancers in the place, had they taken to the stage. Isn't that always the case though? My favorite dancer of the night was Heaven, who is quite young, and sports a set of massive, quite-natural hooters. In a word...spectacular! She manages to have those luscious gazongas without being overly heavy or gross in any way. She's attractive, friendly, and gives a great private dance. I highly recommend her. Also being awarded the Dickmann seal of approval are Indy and Rayne. It was interesting to note how little attention most of the dancers paid to the general population in the club. Most chose to sit alone or with a regular customer. There was very little circulation at all. That aspect of customer service, which is practically defined by Ybor Strip in Tampa, is sorely missing from this club. I don't think a customer should have to work that hard to spend his money on private dances. By all accounts it was a good evening, but I don't see myself becoming a regular. Private dance quality is very hit or miss, and levels of service vary greatly from dancer to dancer. I find the set-up at the Hip Hugger to be much more consistent. Next time I party, I'm heading north!
