Summer doldrums

I had a little time on my hands around 2:30pm and had 2 close options... Risque or Cheeleaders, I chose Risque as I hadn't been there in a while. It's a nice, clean club, upscale compared to most others. Large bar with stage in the middle, some tables around the sides, lap room in the back left, VIP back right. Girls do 2 dances on stage, come around inside the bar for tips, then some will head to a reg or circulate after their set. My pre-covid experiences here have been good...plenty of 5-8 girls, white, latino and a few woc as well. During the day shift it mostly slants toward regulars but with enough girls you can usually find a PIC for laps or VIP. Today wasn't the same...3-4 customers and I think less than 4 girls, not sure if others were occupied or not but I only saw 2 different girls dance on stage during my hour or so visit. I know it's the summer and things slow down but I kinda expected a little more activity. Drinks are $7-$10, laps are still $20 and my last visit VIP was $220. I didn't get any real chance to try out the talent b/c 1 girl went right to a reg and the other disappeared to the dressing room right after her set. I didn't catch any names as the DJ had marbles in his mouth. I was hoping to catch a girl there from Delilah's who was Kim there, then Duchess here but I'm not sure she's still around.
