Seems to be coming back.

The building is a purple cube at the end of the Passyunk Ave bridge. It sits on the parking lot to one of the weirder strip malls in America, featuring a swingers club, a pool hall, an adult store with booth girls, a Chinese massage parlor about which nothing good has been said ever, and a gigaws store. There's often a flea market going on in the parking lot. Welcome to David Lynch's Philadelphia.

The interior is two levels. Unless you're a dancer, you won't see the second level since that's where the dressing room is. The bar itself is a rectangle with a two pole stage in the middle. The owner/manager sits at an elevated desk by the front door, collecting cover charges and dance charges. Cover starts some time after 7.

I arrived at about 5:30. Parking lot was emptier than usual. I was figuring it would be dead. I was surprised when I came in as there were about 5 PLs sitting around the bar and 5 dancers, who ranged from brick house to lithe. Nobody was circulating that much as it was early still.
