I went to Club 64 East...

I went to Club 64 East on Friday 29 December. To get there, take exit #4 (Baugh Ave) from I-64, and go north on Illinois SR 3. After a short distance, SR 3 becomes St. Clair Ave (approx 1/2 mile), and then you will see the club on your left. One thing to be aware of is their opening times. Most days they open at 1400 (2 pm). However, on Sat, Sun and Mon they do not open up until 1800 (6 pm).

I went there because they placed an ad in the Riverfront Times (a local paper), announcing that bottled beers were $1 = every Friday and Saturday during December. When I walked up to the bar, the fat chick behind the bar informed me that it wasn't true. They had placed that ad just to get guys to come in. The price of bottled beer was actually $3.50. Now, I don't mind paying $3.50 for a beer. BUT........It's the principle of the matter! The management should not lie to their customers. It just ain't right. That's one reason why this club rates a score of "2". You're not supposed to go back on your word, and lie to your customers.

There were two black chicks working. Even though I went up and tipped them at the stage, neither one of them came over to my table to say "Hi". That seems odd to me. Normally, following her set, a stripper will go around the room and say thank you to the guys who tipped. I guess these two chicks were too involved with themselves, to worry about saying anything to the paying customers.
