Definitely not like OGs

For the 3rd club of my trip I would normally consider Polomino, however since it was a Tue I did not think there would be much talent there this night and decided to try Hippo. We attempted to call for guest list but no one answered the phone. So we got there around 10 pm and asked the door guy if there was cover and he said its $50 but u get 2 drink tickets. i said we'll go somewhere else. As we were leaving a Host called us back and said he would comp our entry as long as we bought drinks, no problem.

We were led in and past the Hippo statue to a table and right away we are accosted by some dancers grabbing our arms and walking to the table with us. Server came to take our drink order and dancer tries to order a drink on me - strike one, one of my friends got suckered on this. I immediately declined and it was $16 for my beer. I gave the waitress a $20 and she never brought back my change - strike two, did the same to my other buddy. The place looks the same structurally except for the now glass wall where the speak easy sits behind. Place has been painted and when i went to the bathroom it definitely felt like OGs on that other side of the club.

Dancer quality was not good, likely cuz it was early. First dancer that acosted me had a pretty face, but the rest did not do anything for me. I was willing to test drive some dances, but she kept pushing vip, to the point where I just said no thanks and she left in a huff. My other friends were chatting up different dancers, but I did not see anything I liked, we agreed to give it an hour or two and see. Finally around 9 more dancers showed up and there was a few decent looking girls. only one of them came bay and after chatting with her, she only wanted to do VIP - strike three. Whats with the GPS here? I said no thanks and on her way she went. by now I was ready to leave then a different girl came by with a nice body but face was just avg, id say she was a soft 7. She noted she dances at a different club usually but that its "been slow" and was trying out hippo. She offered the 3 for $100 and i accepted. her mileage was pretty decent, she did ask me to not grope if any suits were around or she would get in trouble, unsure if this was a tactic or legit? at the end of the set she offered an additional song for $20, so essentially 4 songs for $120 which i accepted.
