Making it drizzle

Gold Club Memphis is a somewhat awkwardly large and open club. $10 cover, $6 cokes and beers. Smoking is allowed and a smoke machine is running. Two main stages and a side area that may be used when busier. I was wanded on entry and at least one security guy was wearing a vest. Really? Is Memphis THAT dangerous? I didn’t feel unsafe but maybe I was naive?

It felt emptyish despite several customers. Granted it was a weekday. Mixed crowd and a few couples wandered through. Most interactions were people going to a girl onstage and making it drizzle ($10 or so). Girls stuck with their regulars at tables. I saw one guy getting a VIP that looked like a pretty good non-extras dance (there is practically no privacy in VIP as it's open and well lit).

Girls were 6.5-7s. Mostly skinny white girls. They’d do two songs, collect 50-100 in ones, come down and sit with their regulars. A couple hispanic girls that didn't speak english approached, and I wasn't about to do doubles with girls I couldn't talk to. A half asian girl, very thin with big 32D fakes, got me to do a couple couch dances, $25 or "$35 topless" which was probably a scam. VIP was 150 for 15, 300 for 30.
