Decent way to spend a Friday night

Arrived with my wife around 930 on a Friday night. Club’s in the parking lot if a strip mall, tons of parking, well lit, felt safe. Went in and paid our $10 cover, no metal detector, no pat down, didn’t even ask for ID (we look plenty older than 21). The club is a decent size, not that big, but not small. A good amount of tables and chairs, with some small booths. It’s a cool aesthetic, I’d try describing it but it’d be easier to look at the pictures on Facebook or Instagram. We took a table near the stage.

When we got there the music was almost all rock which was great for us. By 1030 it was almost entirely pop. There were maybe 15 - 20 people there when we arrived and it filled up pretty good by the time we left around 1245. The energy was pretty low until it started picking up around midnight.

There was a good variety in the dancers’ ethnicities but not in body type. There was a good amount of AA, Asian, Latina, and white girls. But they were almost entirely slender, and I don’t remember seeing any I’d describe as thick. Most natural with a few dancers that had surgical enhancements. Stage routines were alright, with a couple standouts. They were pretty split between somewhat robotic with no interaction with the audience, to more fun and engaging with those on the rail.
