Live in a Dive

I walked in with a buddy of mine around 11 P.M. and we were greeted by the door man. we had to pay a $5 cover, which I find pretty reasonable these days. there was ample seating, the place looked a bit run down but not exactly a hole in the wall, just not exactly vibrant or flashy like most modern clubs these days.

there were two stages, each stage had 1 girl on, and considering I only counted around 6 or 7 girls this wasn't that big of a deal. the girls ranged from older to a bit too old to still be doing this, it was mostly white girls in there but not all of them. I was prepared to at least get a dance, if not an extra or two if offered but not a single dancer talked to either me or my friend that night.

the bar staff was nice, and reasonably attractive, I bought a bucket of beer and I don't remember the exact price but it was around $30. the shot girls swarmed and when I agreed to buy a shot they would ask if they could do one, and also if the bartender could do one, and the continual upsell on that front. I believe they were around $8 each. smoking was allowed in the bar which was unusual to me but I didn't mind. some times its nice to have a drink and a smoke, but if that's not your vibe this is mos def not your club.
