Beyond the Utah Valley of the Dolls

Was in Salt Lake again and decided to try out the only other club besides American Bush where you can get lap dances in the whole state. Reviews on here are pretty brutal so let me add a more tempered one based on my experience (and understanding of Utah's moral boundaries).

State Street in South Salt Lake is one of those main drags with all the island of misfit toys type of shops (tattoo parlors, low credit car dealerships, massage parlors, fast food, ethnic eateries, something for everyone). Exotic Kitty is on this strip in a little box of a building - hopefully you can find the driveway to get in (very narrow, width for one car) and park in the back without going around the horn again. Rear entrance with parking is a nice feature but hopefully someone's not trying to leave while you enter.

You enter the club and pay the host the cover (can't remember if it was $7 or $10). Because there is topless dancing on the stage, the club is non-alcoholic, 18+. There's a bar straight ahead where you can order these sugary drinks ($10-15 plus tipping) the dancers (and bartender) constantly hound you to buy for them. I've been told there's a drink quota that each girl is required to meet. The club interior is suitably sultry dark and the music vibe is good. There's a small stage in the middle of the room with seating all around the rack. There are lounges along the walls and the four VIP rooms are down a hallway next to the DJ just to the right of the stage.
