Some Things Never Change
It’d been four years since I was in the area, and I was eager to return to the PHL. Visited on a recent Friday from 4:00-5:30 pm.
As described in other reviews, the club is in a can’t-miss pink building, with plenty of free parking in a paved lot. Once inside there is no ID check or other visible security. The room is long and narrow; all seating is on stools around the bar, which has two stages inside it, end to end. There was no cover and bottled water was $10, or the cover was $10 and the water was free. It is a BYOB place, and the bartender will put your packaged alcoholic drinks in the cooler and will serve them to you as you request them. I am not sure if there is a charge for that or what it might be, as I only had water.
When I was there, a DJ played music and called dancers to the stage. There were about 10 dancers that I saw – white, black, and Latina. They would dance on stage one at a time for two songs (maybe three) and remove their tops. All seemed attractive in their own way, so there was something for everyone, though none were particularly young. Girls would come around after dancing (and sometimes before) to ask for tips and try to entice you to buy dances. Most will be very handsy at the bar, which will help you decide.
