Tried Teasers - Song Times Too Tight, But Tempting Still
Teasers was my favorite club in NC for quite a while in the 201Xs. I hadn't been there since 2020 though, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall I was happy to see that there really wasn't much different. Physically the club looks almost identical, keeping its distinctive floor-level stage, comfy leather chairs and tables, second mini side stage, and central bar, with a roped-off upstairs VIP section that has about 5 booths. If possible, avoid the first booth - it's a rough, scratchy fabric couch rather than the nicer leather ones in the other 4. If you go up for VIP, you can expect a small room (6 ft x 6 ft maybe?) with a sheer curtain closing it off. They definitely have actively-monitored cameras, but are pretty relaxed as long as you stay away from the nether regions.
The dancers there tend to be my type: mostly (70%?) white, often thin/athletic with some/many tattoos. There was certainly a variety, but that was the most common profile. Like in the past, you'll see quite a few women and couples in the audience, which is one of the things I like most about the place. While it's certainly dark, to me it has a more positive atmosphere of fun rather than just sex.
I sat for a while taking it all in when a dancer named Roxy asked if she could sit with me. We chatted for a bit and I bought a water bottle (only $2.75 for a full half liter, downright reasonable, especially compared to the $5 I paid for a quarter liter at Greensboro's Treasure Club). She declined me offering to get her a drink. We hit it off and I ended up asking her for a dance. The three dances are a table dance (I forget the price, but you rarely see them), a couch dance ($25 for one song, depending on the girl they seem to permit hands on hips and thighs but definitely not breasts), and the VIP upstairs ($100 for 4 songs with full 2-way contact everywhere not clothed).
