S44 Revisited

I was in the area on a Friday afternoon around 2PM and decided on impulse to checkout an old favorite club despite not having a clubing wad in my wallet.

Logistics first: best entrance to parking lot is to go north on 44th St and turn into the alley behind Wells Fargo (remember this if you need an ATM). Best to park behind the club in the small parking lot, if you find yourself at McDonald's, you went too far. Insider's tip: park next to the bank wall and your car will be in the shade from around 2PM and later. Entrance to the club is on the left (east) side of club.

Like most clubs, especially in the Phoenix summer, it's dark when you 1st enter. Straight ahead is the bar, across from the bar is one of two VIP areas. Keep going to the right is the restrooms, clean and no annoying troll. To the left when entering is the only stage, there's the usual blacklist lighting theme. There's a few pervert's row seats, most of the customers sit along the seats or tables along the walls. Correction, everytime I've been in S44 during the daytime shift most of the customers are actually the bar flies and a lot of the girls will hangout there also. To the right of the stage is the other VIP area next to the DJ booth and there's a convenient ATM at this VIP entrance (remember the Wells Fargo ATM next door). The club has a relaxed vibe, almost like Cheers (with the bar fly regulars) with partially naked women.

Seemed like there was about 10-20 dancers and less PLs, surprising for a Friday afternoon. It's been a while, I only recognized Zena, Sativa, Laureen and the legendary Mustang, missing from my memory were London, China, Crowley, Paris, Mikayla, Hazel, Veronica... I ordered a soft drink, $5 + $1 tip, don't drink alcohol so not certain of price for alcoholic drinks. Floor lap dances are $10, VIP is a one time $20 wristband and $25 dances.

Girls are laid back and not pushy if you decline a dance. No Little Havana at this club. There were several African American dancers, 1 Asian dancer, the rest were Caucasian, subjective appearance was 5s to 8s, would have gotten dances from any of the girls who went on-stage.
