Changing of the Guards at XTC: A Night of Bright Lights and Bare Truths
I went to XTC Cabaret on Friday at 6:45 p.m. on a mission: to witness the changing of the guards from the daytime crew to the nighttime talent. Entry set me back $25, but parking on the north side of the building was free. There was no security or manager at the door, which gave the place that “walk right in, you’re among friends” vibe.
It had been a year since my last visit, and I was curious to see what had changed. Inside, the familiar setup greeted me: three stages running, bright lights, and a steady rotation of dancers. Since XTC is all-nude, it’s BYOB. I didn’t bring anything to drink, so I grabbed a $5 bottle of water and found myself thirsty for other things anyway. I’ve always liked this club because the dancers perform three-song sets: first in their dental floss, second topless, and third completely nude. My favorite part is when they walk off the main stage butt naked and head to stage two. I usually sit near that walkway for reasons that should be obvious.
By 8 p.m., I counted around 20 girls on the floor. Two African American dancers were absolute standouts. One, going by “Venom” or maybe “Toxic,” was a petite beauty with a blonde wig and rocker-chick energy. She tore up the pole to Rob Zombie, and I respect any dancer who actually climbs it rather than just sways around it.
Then there was “Helen,” one of two girls with the most impressive natural features I’ve seen in a while. She offered me a table dance for $20. Normally I’d pass at that price, but I wasn’t about to risk her being claimed by another admirer. An Asian spinner in a neon-blue outfit also caught my attention. She had long hair, strong pole skills, and great energy. This visit felt different from past ones when some of the Cuban dancers barely moved on stage. The talent this time really worked for the crowd. Another highlight was a young dancer in a bright green thong, rocking large, natural assets for her petite frame. I’ve been going to this club since the days when dancers only had to be 18+, so seeing some fresh faces post-21+ law was refreshing.
Overall, it was a solid night. I left around 8:30, but I suspect even more talent was getting ready in the back, but was just doing another recon. I wish I could’ve stayed longer but hey, there’s always next Friday.
