Ghost of former self?

This visit was a few weeks ago, was in town for business so thought I would stop by what used to be my favorite club many years ago. I had not been to this club since pre-pandemic times.

I arrived at the club at around 9 PM Wednesday night and first thing I noticed was there was available parking right in front of the club, not blocked off for valet, not already taken by other PLs. Maybe just my lucky day? Parked, said high to two dancers who were taking a break on the bench in front. I entered the front room, waiting for someone to take my cover, hmmm no one there so maybe I just walk in? The dude came from around back, super chill guy, said "I think we have 8 dancers so you should be good." Wait, since when was this standard for this place? For context, I used to visit this place quite frequently when it was the top place in COI, with dozens of PLs and dancers having a good time. Cover was $10 IIRC. Music was thumping as I entered the club and hit be the usual very dark atmosphere. No one on stage at the moment, OK, it is a Wed. My eyes start adjusting, but I can't see anyone one else in the club! As my eyes adjust, I looked to the fireplace, not a single dancer there. Is that a bartender or ghost? Oh, a lost PL sitting there, losing hope? I see one dancer lying on one of the couches in the topless dance area. I do a full circuit around the stage, this is like a very bizarre dream sequence. As I completed my lap, DJ comes on to wake the available dancers and three come out and immediately sit at the fireplace. A few songs, no one is coming over, its getting awkward. Finally, a shorter Latina comes over to join me, offers topless and out of curiosity and boredom say yes. She had moments but never crossed over to mileage I had previously in this club so stopped after two. Went back to main room, look another customer! Two of the first dancers never get up from the fireplace. Out of the back comes a very cute AA dancer, seriously had the too cute for stripper look. She was pretty good with conversation and I did eventually get three nude dances from her. The main room is the same upon returning, 1 customer, two dancers sitting at fireplace, 1 dancer slowly moving on stage. No one is coming to rescue the evening. I am realizing this is what a club that has not recovered from the pandemic must look like. Sinn is right down street and off I go.
