Sunday - Slow But Well Staffed

Club Desire is located in a pretty large building near the Rhode Island Hospital. The parking lot is substantial, but always feels full; I figure that a fair amount of the cars belong to the dancers, bartenders, hosts, etc, and so the lot fills up fast, even before any patrons get there. Good news is that there is always valet parking, and so you can just give your keys to an attendant, and they will find a space for you. I only visit during the day and have never really had a problem finding parking.

Inside the club is spread out over three levels. The bottom level is Club Desire, which is actually rather small. Club Lust (a membership only club) is on the second floor (also a bit small), and the third floor is an open lounge with pool tables and very comfortable chairs. The third floor is open to Club Lust members, and I imagine that it fills up pretty easily on busy nights. I live too far away to take advantage of Club Lust, and so I have never given any thought to joining. Since I don't know that much about it, I'll leave it to the more seasoned members to explain how Club Lust works.

Getting back to Club Desire. A big chunk of that floor is taken up by the VIP rooms, the bathrooms and the dressing rooms, leaving a small amount of space for the club itself. Like I said, I visit during the day, and so its never been really crowded when I am there. I can see it being cramped on weekends or during busy nights. Two large square bars occupy most of the club; each one can seat about 20. There are two stages: one right in front of the two bars, and the other one is off to the side. I have rarely seen the side stage be used, except when it gets a little crowded. Its probably used all the time during nights. There are some tables situated between the bars and stages, and a VIP seating area is located along the wall opposite the main stage (on the other side of the bars). The back of the bar (by the DJ booth) has smaller cubicles for table dances. They have swinging doors, with an open top and bottom. Unless the bouncer makes a real effort, he can't really see inside, and so these cubicles are somewhat private. Table dances can be topless or fully nude, but I am unsure of the prices becasue I rarely get table dances here. I think you have to let the bouncer know (ahead of time) how many dances you want, pay the appropriate house fee (per dance), and then pay your dancer the balance. VIP dances are held at the opposite end of the club, in nice sized rooms with a solid door. These rooms have a love seat, a small table and a lamp. VIP rooms are $140 for each 15 minutes ($40 to the club and $100 to the dancer). The dancer might ask for a larger tip, depending on how vigorous she is. I always ask ahead of time, so that there are no surprises.
