Showcase meh, talent GREAT!

This place is nothing to write home about when it comes to appearance and curb appeal. In addition, the BYOB was almost a mood killer from the jump; however, I wanted to watch a west coast NBA game and figured they would be open late and might have some nice people to look at. The cover on a Wednesday was only $10, and they had light, non-alcoholic refreshments to keep me busy.

For the most part, the talent was sub par and the patrons were all surprisingly young. To be honest, I was pretty off-put by the general vibe, though there was one worker who caught my eye among the few who were actually out on the floor mingling. Unlike everyone else in the room, this girl was WORKING for attention… and my attention she grabbed.

She was likely not the typical experience you might expect out of Showcase, but there is no way I could ever rate this club poorly based on her work ethic and my overall experience. I believe I spent somewhere in the range of $100 for 4 songs, though this girl must have been wearing earplugs during our time together, as I probably got a total of 12 songs for that price.
