Wow vivide may very well be the most hit or miss club I’ve ever been too. Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon around 4:45pm. Standard pat down and $10 at the door. Nobody was upstairs at all and the upstairs booth they had blocked off with chairs. Came downstairs immediately grab a drink from the bar $12 as prices went up on drinks in the last two weeks. Now I survey the crowd and it’s nothing in here but maybe 2 black girls and 2 white girls. It’s literally 21 Spanish girls in here. They are all standing around and taking up couch space in the booths and just slothing around the club. Vivide has invested in the pole and stage to get girls to dance on stage. The Spanish girls never get up there. I prefer that to be a requirement at least so they can’t just sloth around for dances and vips. At follies the stage was a good way of seeing how the girls move almost like a preview of how your dances may go.
I danced one dancer a mixed girl tall that I’ve danced before a couple times, she was complaining the whole time about how up and down her days are in that club that aren’t Fri and Saturday. She also complained that a lot of girls just come on Friday and Saturday and that maybe they should require the girls to work at least two days to work the weekend. I actually agreed with her because it would be better for the club if some of the wknd girls actually came on other days not Friday and Saturday. I honestly wasn’t feeling the club today and let her dance for 4 songs gave her a $50 because I felt bad that she hadn’t made much money that day.
In total I agree with what she said vivide has been overrun by the Spanish army of girls and has messed up the rotation of black and white girls because of the Spanish Inquisition. At least if they are going to be high Spanish numbers make them get in stage and dance as well and cut back on the slothing around around the booths. Hopefully vivide picks up on other days besides the wknd this summer.
