TJ’s is in a little strip mall on a major street. There’s a massage parlor next door plus a couple of little restaurants and a smoke shop nearby. The parking lot is adequate. The exterior of the club has seen better days: a big sign that said TJ’s Theater above and adjacent to the door has been replaced by a wide hole in the wood, no idea why.

Inside, the club is a largely empty space with the stage against the far wall. A long bench or couch with some tables lines the wall on the left as you enter. Opposite the entrance is a little counter where drinks are handed out and money is taken for private dances, etc.

The entrance fee on a Friday afternoon was $15, which included a six-ounce diet Coke. I wasn’t patted down.

A striking difference between TJ’s and other clubs I’ve visited was that I was not charged for the drink. There were no waitresses, just a few dancers. Not that anybody got onstage to dance. To that point, another very nice and unusual feature of TJ’s this visit is that there was no loud music playing, no music at all. The business model is lap dances and etc., pure and simple.

After I walked in, I was quickly approached by an attractive Latina named Julie who said she was 36. She was nicely curvy, with large breasts and a wonderful, very round behind that I am still dreaming about caressing. We chatted briefly.
