A Disappointing Visit To Disappointing Club

$10 cover. ID was scanned. I slipped past the bouncers as they were dealing with a larger party. Found a seat at the bar and ordered. The Coke was $4 plus. Driving so I cannot comment on the price of alcohol. That's not why I went there, anyway.

The HL used to be a club that had a variety of dancers. Tall or short. Slutty or classy. Skinny or think. You could find something you liked most nights. No more. Lack of discrimination in hiring has led to a club of mainly, not entirely, inked-up, slightly overweight, pushy dancers that want to get in and get out.

I spoke with a few dancers, but their conversations consisted of "U wanna dance?" and little else. They would, however, gather into small groups and talk talk talk. I was there forty minutes and the place resembled a club off Saddlebag Trail (only without the super hot women) than the HL of old. Sorry I can't give names, but that tells you how much of an impression they made on me.
