Monday surprise at the Condor

Condor Club SF, from the outside it doesn't look like much but don't let this historical gem pass you by. You will be pleasantly surprised when you go in. The ambiance is that of any gentlemen's club however at no point did my wife and I feel uneasy within the establishment. There was good lighting, the club appeared very clean. the music was at a good level and the location of the stage and seats was ideal whereas regardless of where you sat you would have a good view of the stage.

The crowd was very mixed and very relaxed. There were men and women, young and old, multi-ethnic. A good mix of people you could tell from all sorts of backgrounds and walks of life. From business professionals to lonely guy and college aged kids out for a good time.

As for the dancers, to be honest, we were very surprised by the quality of the performers on a Monday night. We decided to go on a Monday night because the club was having a comedy show that evening. It was a nominal fee to get in for the comedy show. I believe it was $10 per person. Had a great time at the show had a few cocktails (average prices $8-$12) and once the show was over out came the dancers. We stayed after the comedy was over. Again, to our surprise each dancer that came out looked better than the last. If this was the Monday squad, I can't even begin to imagine what the Friday/Saturday night girls looked like. There were around nine girls in the lineup. Four white, three hispanic, one black and one asian. Out of the nine only one appeared to not be having a good time. Five worked the pole well, TYwo could use some work and the last 2 were arial goddesses. After a few libations my wife decided she wanted a lap dance. We went to the back and had a 15/20 min private lap dance in a small private area in the back. The price was around 300 (give or take a few from what I recall), steep but we had a great time. My wife enjoyed the performance, and I enjoyed watching it. Our understanding was that if you upgraded to 30 mins, it would have been in a more... private room. I believe that upgrade would have been another $200.
