something odd at 5th ave.

When I arrived there was a tall blond dancer near the entrance. The change from outside light to inside dark made it hard to see. Something seemed off about the woman so I may have looked at her a moment or two too long. Then I realized, she was a he. Fine, that's the world we live in today. Since I had looked at them for too long they decided to come over and say hi. I politely declined their company. I did notice this person kept to themselves most of the evening and didn't approach patrons for tips or drinks.

If this is your thing well now you know where to go. If it's not, well this one persons presence didn't really do any harm just a novelty if you will.

Other than that odd incident the place is a small dive bar in an industrial area. Most of the dancers were Dominican or Brazilian. Quite a few did not speak English, my Spanish is bad my Portuguese non-existent so communication can get difficult. Not much gets said other than 'buy me a drink', 'you are so handsome' and of course 'want a dance?' usually in that order. Most of the dancers were older. Most of the dancers were not very attractive. Usually no one bothers to dance on stage but oddly this evening a few 'girls' gave it go and shook their ample asses in front of the patrons.
