Fun, redeeming time at Clancy's night shift on a Thursday.

So after feeling like an old white guy pariah at VICs ( OK, I shouldn't be totally surprised, but it was still a little weird. I think just an off day - see my review from earlier today on that visit) I knew I could find a good time at Clancy's so off I went. Thursday night, arrived around 8:30pm. I forgot the cute bartenders' name, but it wasn't Cibi, it was the other one.

An OKish firendly group at the end of the bar (back) by the bathrooms, and clearly an entrenched group at the front corner with a crowd of 5 or so dancers in amongst them. As if fate knew it owed me one, a seat on Old Man's Corner opened up, and not just any seat, *the* seat by the walkout for the bar itself, meaning girls pass by in both directions all night as the go from behind the bar to dance and tip grab out to the floor. This gives you, the PL, the chance to meet, tip, interact with each dancer all night.

There are certain expectations from these seats that I've seen the old men in the afternoon comply with - basically you buy drinks for the girls who will hang around there, and the bartender, and you keep them more or less flowing. In exchange, I always had one or more dancer draped on one shoulder or the other most of the night.
