Monday night in the (19th) hole
I visited last night while on a business trip. The club is in a residential area atypical of strip clubs, which was pretty cool. I went without feeling unsafe. Inside, the dances take place in the middle of a rather small rectangular shaped bar area. The ladies rotate for two or three songs each on stage and then make the rounds around the bar asking for a tip from everyone, whether you were watching or not. There are some games and a pool table near the back and TVs abound. Overall, the surroundings are pretty typical for a club. Not horrible, but nothing especially luxury about anything.
The bouncer and bartender were both friendly enough, and there was a sign saying "two drink minimum", but that was not enforced from what I could tell. $5 cover charge was waived for me. The lap dance area is to the right as you walk in, separated by a curtain. I only took one lady back for a dance, as the crew there mostly didn't appeal to me.
The one dance that I got was very well done, although a little pricy to me at $30 per song. On the flip side, the songs were at least real songs, not cut down to 2 minutes like a lot of places do. (Side note: that tactic really turns me off and annoys me!) I got 4 songs with good grinding action and left that little session quite satisfied. There is the option of a VIP area for $125 for 15 minutes, and that occurs next to that same lap dance area, separated by one more curtain.
