Not their finest moment

Diamond Dolls can be a bit tough to get into. It looks like the only entry is a left turn just before a stoplight at a fairly busy intersection. The parking lot was full, as always, typical for such a popular club. The cover was $12.

Inside, it is actually a very nice building with comfortable seating, two bars, brick walls, and nice dim lighting. The first bar is on a wall just to the front left of the door. I don’t know how much traffic it gets from dancers, so I have never sat there. There is a small stage catty corner from that bar where dancers like to congregate and hang out. The main stage is in a larger main room just a little bit back from there. It is very long, stretching about half the length of that room and parallel to the main bar with tables all around and booths along the wall opposite the bar. Domestic bottles are $4.

I like Diamond Dolls because they consistently have the hottest and friendliest dancers around. Yes, the hustle is high, but if you tip them for their time you can also have fun hanging out with them. I saw only one attractive dancer this entire trip. She went straight into the VIP with a guy who walked in at the same time I had. It seemed to me like the timing was prearranged. Every other dancer was just flabby. Several dancers came by to chat that I wasn’t interested in, but I got some table dances just to kill time while checking out the scenery. Every dancer was Cuban. I had to stop myself from laughing when every conversation began with “Where are you from, papi?”, and I would ask where they were from while already knowing the answer.
