Hadn't been by the Purple Orchid in nearly a year, but had some time to kill before catching a plane and decided to give it a try. Chill, very chill, downright lowkey vibe in the place. A couple tatted and thick AA girls making the dollar parade, but something seemed a bit off. I remember before they'd be downright aggfressive about getting you in the $20 couch room or the $30 private booths, and came ready to have the usual adventure, but this afternoon no one was selling more than asking for standard post-dance tips. A bit disappointed, I downed a few $7 beers, left a few dollar tips, and headed down the street to Venus Video, where the answer to my dreams was more easily found...but that's a different story.
