A lazy, but ultimately satisfying, Sunday night

Was driving past COI on the way back into town on a Sunday evening and thought, "why not?" My second visit in such a circumstance. Pulled into the lot just before 10p. Surprisingly, the lot looked really full. It's giant and well lit, I figured to park on the other side, and walked over to make my way in.

Doorman was friendly, as before. Paid $20, tipped $5. From the number of cars in the parking lot, I was expecting some action. Alas, inside, it was totally dead.

I marked "6-10" dancers but truth be told, most seemed to be in the back. There were 3 on the floor and maybe 2 other patrons. 2 of these girls were talking with one another on a far side bench, not even with a patron. DJ still had energy though. Almost hilariously, like he was playing to a full house. Good on him. As he called the girls names, each took quite a while to get to the stage. This just added to the emptiness. One took at least 5 minutes to arrive, even (maybe was finishing up in back or something). Given the vibe, I half expected the janitor to start vacuuming in the back while the girls dance (actually something I witnessed sometime around sunrise at a Vegas club... but that's another story for another time). Suffice to say, there wasn't much going on here on a Sunday late night.
