Better than Bourbon.

I keep thinking that New Orleans should be a great place for strip clubs. Unfortunately it isn't.

Having said that, I think the Showcase is the best option in town. It is in a working class black neighborhood, but a short Uber or taxi ride from the tourist areas.

I went on a Wednesday at 9:30. $10 cover. The place had just opened and was pretty sleepy. Dancers and customers started rolling in round 10. Everyone, except myself, was black. Other than the occasional second look, everyone was polite and friendly. The club is totally average. A large bar, big screen TVs, two small stages with poles. Drinks are pricey by NOLA standards, but at least they are strong. By 11 there was a large selection of dancers, every shape and size of black girl you could want. They occasionally danced on stage, but mostly they circulated for drinks and tips. This is the best, and worst, part. You can sit there and get serial lap dances for a few dollars a girl. But, no down time, you will rarely not have a girl asking you for a tip.
