Visited this club last night to...

Visited this club last night to see if it had hopefully filled some of the void from the Platinum Plus closure. Unfortunately, it is still the same as my last visit over a year ago.....not inspiring. I did see a few familiar faces from Platinum, but they did not interest me at Platinum and they didn't interest me here either. There were probably a total of no more than 20 dancers at 11:00 p.m. with maybe 5 being former PP dancers. I wouldn't give any a rating over a 6 and most were 4's or 5's. I will say that most of the dancers came by to get acquainted and were very friendly and cheerful. They didn't have that high hustle factor which made my visit in that respect enjoyable. The staff was also exceptional for a Memphis club. The waitstaff was attentive, but not obtrusive. The d.j. was very professional and seemed to have a good rapport and concern for the dancers. He was not a carnival barker and then continuously shout and yell insults at the patrons. This produced an ambience along with the nice decor a sense of an upscale gentlemen's club that you would encounter in a major metropolitan city. Unfortunately, it does not produce that fun environment that PP had. As you can see, I've spent more time on comments about the club than what we all go to the club for.....the dancers. I can't make any comments on them because after arriving no one motivated me to spend my entertainment budget. Management has a golden opportunity to be "The Club" with the atmosphere they have created, if they can attract the high quality dancers. Unfortunately, that hasn't seemed to have occurred yet. As always, this is IMO and RIP PP.
