Stunning dancers, but everything else is middle-of-the-road

I stopped through Penthouse last Thursday when visiting NOLA. Other reviews are right: the dancers here are Vegas-level gorgeous. There is a good amount of ethnic and style diversity, but not in body type. The majority of dancers range from spinner to statuesque (just fine for me - noting it for people with different preferences). I don't remember anyone's names, mostly because I probably saw 40+ dancers over my two hours there.

The club is pretty nice and fairly large. You walk in and past two bars (the main one and a smaller one) on your way to the main floor. There are two stages that jut out into the floor with tables crowding around. Dancers seem to constantly go on (no announcements of who's dancing next like in other clubs), but there was essentially no tipping which was interesting. It's also nice that the main floor is reasonably lit, so you can see clear across the room. Only downside is that the main room can be chaotic and hard to walk across, as you're constantly dodging tables and dancers.

I went alone, and in my experience dancers are less likely to approach you than at other clubs. If you see someone you like, be proactive and talk to her before she passes by. The dancers are friendly when approached and nobody did the "wanna dance?" sell immediately. I did notice that large groups got more attention. I assume bachelor parties and groups of coworkers spend more. Between dances, this let me relax and enjoy a beer without being bothered constantly.
